About Us

The Bluebell Community Centre (B.C.C), was officially opened by Councillor A.A. Sapey over 33 years ago. Since then, this council owned centre continues to be a vibrant hub to welcome all age groups in the local community in a variety of activities such as coffee mornings, Bingo, craft making, and long-established groups, like line dancing, dressmaking, local community police surgeries and Sunday church gatherings to name a few. The B.C.C. is situated behind the Bluebell Plaice Fish shop on Bluebell Avenue
in Dogsthorpe. The premises has a calm and peaceful ambience with a fully equipped kitchen, Wi-Fi and sound equipment for all commercial and community event needs. The main hall can comfortably accommodate a maximum capacity of 60 people and has resources to hold corporate meetings efficiently. The Bluebell Community Centre is also adequately equipped for birthday parties, dinners and outdoor events, with enough space for a bouncy castle. In the coming months, we are planning excellent activities for the whole community to enjoy. This is your centre, your space and your home! Come and visit us, you would be glad you did!

The car boot on Saturday 23rd March 2024 at Bluebell Community Centre was really good, a steady amount of people came all my plants was bought. I saw a few old friends in which I hadn't seen in a long while. I also made some new friends, we had music, singing and lots of laughter. Thank you.
